ItsJustWerner Found another late-round draft-prospect that I'll be hoping the Bears give a little more consideration: Ryan Miller, OG. Projected Rd. 5-6. He has the size to be pushed over to tackle, which he has had experience at RT. No known character or off-field issues. Invited to the Combine.

ItsJustWerner I'd like to see the Bears draft a CB at the 3rd or 4th round. The player I have my eye on is Casey Hayward who seems to have a natural talent against the pass almost like Peanut's innate ability to force fumbles. He definitely needs to bulk up so he can get off of blocks against the run game, though
02/09/2012 - 11:55pm Respond I believe the Bears need to address the CB position in the third round with Josh Norman from Coastal Carolina 6'1 - 203- 4.54 and a SS Sean Cattouse- California in the seventh. Sean Cattouse played with Chicago Bears FS Chris Conte' a reunion of sorts. 02/10/2012 - 6:48am to add another later round corner's name to the mentioned. Ryan Steed Furman. 02/10/2012 - 11:49am Josh Norman looks good. Lot of teams with CB needs, so may go early in the 3rd round. Would be awesome if he fell to the Bears at 74th overall. Sean Carrouse seems like someone I should keep an eye on, too. Bears need a solid SS badly, and he seems like a smash-mouth kind of tackler from the few videos out there of him. Didn't find any reports about his strengths and weaknesses. If he does well in the combine, may have to grab him in the 6th. Ryan Steed has some amazing stats from what I read on cbssports.com. His size, however, may push him out of favor of our new GM, though. 02/10/2012 - 4:01pm |

ItsJustWerner MattForte22 Matt Forte
just recruited @BMarshall19 and Reggie Wayne...ur welcome guys lol
02/04/2012 - 7:54pm Respond From his twitter. Forte certainly knows how to talk to Bears fans. Reggie Wayne is a 2012 free agent ;D But he'd be a $5-8 million cap hit. He maybe 33, but that's only 3 years older than Roy Williams with twice the production. 02/04/2012 - 8:03pm |

ItsJustWerner Ruskell is gone, so that shows a little more effort to change the front office compared to the previous single removal of Angelo.

ItsJustWerner I wonder what the likelihood is the the Bears outbid the Chargers for Jared Gaither. He was a hot pick-up in 2011 FA, and is a FA again in 2012. I think our need for a LT is higher than the Chargers, so the concern is with other teams that need a LT.

ItsJustWerner I love that there is an actual news story that showed up on the right "From Da Media" about the twitter back-and-forth between Cutler and Marshall. I follow Cutler, so I almost made a post about it, but then I looked up Marshall's contract....

ItsJustWerner Tice named OC. I'm actually glad because this means a few things, first of which is familiarity with the players. The biggest problem with bringing in someone new was that period of time of figuring out what their abilities are, like Martz with Forte and Bennet, etc.
01/06/2012 - 11:41am Respond It also means Forte is eve more valuable because Tice has a history of emphasizing a run-first offense. 01/06/2012 - 11:44am Yeah signing Tice was a no brainer now lets get Forte signed and keep everything even more smooth 01/06/2012 - 11:51am |

ItsJustWerner "Tim Ruskell will operate the personnel department in the interim" via ESPN.
Sounds like he won't get the job and Phillips is willing to take a month or longer to find better options, which there are plenty.
