Gravis Jeffery gets cramped on first day of practice? Geez, is Satan just warming up for a season full of injuries in Chicago or something after he took out Rose? I think we all need to have a prayer meeting next Tuesday, so bring your mustaches and polish sausages.

Gravis Hey Roy, I didn't get a chance to ask on the show, but I was going to mention that da Bear's were actually going to take McNutt (6'4", 214) in the 6th before the Eagles grabbed him. What does that say about da Bear's, and would that be a case that they'd be letting certain people/receivers go?
05/03/2012 - 4:15am Respond The likely would have kept everyone and let training camp sort them all out. Sounds like they were just going to throw "numbers" at the position in that case. 05/03/2012 - 6:47pm |

Gravis Holy crap! Ronnie Cameron looks like a well-producing machine at 3T DT. I hope he does well this off-season as our UDFA.
04/29/2012 - 7:13am Respond Show all 4 comments http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APbgNk6D0nc 04/29/2012 - 8:01am How does this guy go undrafted? Looks like a great shot to make the team! 04/29/2012 - 9:42am GREAT MOTOR! hands look good, I dont know what type of athlete he is though. He should be able to snatch a practice squad spot. 04/29/2012 - 11:22am This guy loves the 3T, and he's good at it. This is definitely a steal for the Bears. 04/29/2012 - 5:16pm |

Gravis I'm having giggidy seizures over what has transpired in the past two days. Emery has added so much depth, strengthened the offense (especially red zone off), and is very succinct for his reasons of who he has picked. Now I want off-season to start already, lol. Havin' a Heart Attack Holiday!

Gravis What a freakin' curveball Emery threw at everyone. Maybe he suspects one of his top 7 to go in 2nd? Just wow.

Gravis Take it with a grain of salt, but apparently Colin Cowherd on his show rumored that the Bears might trade Forte and the 19th pick to the Browns for the 4th and 22nd overall. Again, take it with a grain of salt. I'll see if I can find a link to it.
04/24/2012 - 2:33am Respond If that happened, it would be the highlight of the entire draft. The Bears would have their pick of some serious talent. I would assume most would say Trent Richardson would be the Bears' obvious target after such a trade, but now Kalil is seen as no longer a slam dunk pick by MIN, and then you have first dibs on Luke Kuechly, too. Emery could shape the team to be anything with those options. 04/24/2012 - 3:10am Richardson or Kuechly, hmmm. If you dump Forte you've got to draft the RB and then draft Hightower. 04/25/2012 - 7:47am |

Gravis Hey Roy, are you going to put up an article about the defensive linemen you've researched tomorrow, or are you simply going to talk about it on the show tomorrow?

Gravis By the way, yesterday (or day before) Ruskell said on the NFLN that Mercilus is 'strictly a pass rusher'. Many of us know this, but it begs the question if the Bear's want a situational DE like Mercilus or a more complete d-lineman who can do well against both pass and run.
04/22/2012 - 2:03pm Respond Honestly im not that worried of which D linemen we draft because of Maranelli he will get the best out of any Linemen, if Coples falls to us i think thats what he needs a coach like Maranelli, Best case scenarios for both teams. 04/22/2012 - 3:37pm |

Gravis Hey Roy, I was just wondering if you've gotten a chance to look at DT Jordan Miller. I think he was an undrafted FA when we picked him up and I can't find any tape, other than highlights, of course.
04/22/2012 - 3:01am Respond I haven't had a look at him recently nor any camp notes I may have on him. I'll make a note of it and let you know what I find. 04/22/2012 - 6:55pm |

Gravis After seeing Sam Farmer's mock take Nick Perry, I looked at some tape and can see why Marinelli might like him. For one, while he's not particularly fast, he's smart and wraps up most of the time; also has some pretty good strength, though he doesn't bull rush as much as he should. Not bad speed----
04/20/2012 - 10:36pm Respond when rushing around OT, though could improve technique (has decent hands). Has a few nice moves to get around guys. What I believe, however, that Rod saw in him was his ability to play on the left side. On tape, when they'd put him on the left instead of right end where he usually is, he as well if not a bit better than right. That's important to note since we pretty much have shored up RE with Peppers, so the main thing the Bear's are going to look for is someone who can play LE too. 04/20/2012 - 10:39pm Idk i heard the guy was like Jared Allen a one trick pony. Put then again anything like Jared Allen will be great! 04/21/2012 - 10:14am Yeah, I'm not saying he's an answer to the d-line. He'll be as much of a project as Mercilus is, though Mercilus has a head-start since he's played more at LE. Either way, I think they'd make an impact if drafted, but I'm not sure how large it would be. I'm sure Marinelli will bring out the best in anyone that is drafted. I still like Chandler more, honestly, lol. 04/21/2012 - 1:12pm |
