ForteAllDay22 Sources now saying that Chris Williams is moving to tackle. This is why I love this website. We get all the right information really early. Keep up the good work Roy!

ForteAllDay22 "Jeffery will play the “Z” receiver spot in the slot. Brandon Marshall and Devin Hester will play on the outside, with the latter playing a much more significant role in 2012 than in years past on offense because of the club’s plans to creatively deploy him in a variety of places."
05/11/2012 - 6:10pm Respond This is a little surprising. Why play Hester at the 2? I thought Jeffery was the 2. Hester should be the slot guy. He's quicker, faster and can create match up problems in the slot. I like the "deploy him in a variety of places" part though. Either way, we can expect a good season out of Hester. He will be used the way he should have from the beginning. 05/11/2012 - 6:16pm Don't expect him to be lined up anywhere permanently. He'll be anywhere and everywhere his skills are properly found. If his outside route running is as great as Marshall says, expect him there sometimes, but only when it benefits a certain package and such. 05/11/2012 - 7:33pm I don't see Hester as a good slot guy, he's too small to shield it from defenders. His speed is best utilised on the long sideline routes, post routes etc. 05/16/2012 - 11:42am |

ForteAllDay22 I like the draft for the most part, but I'm surprised that we didn't get a DT. We only have three on the roster. Hopefully we get someone who can produce in UDFA or a FA.
04/29/2012 - 9:39am Respond We just might. Check out Ronnie Cameron. Irish Sweetness posted his highlight video in one of my earlier comments. 04/29/2012 - 9:41am I agree. Now it's looking like or secondary is a liability. Alot of pass happy teams in the league, how will our personnel adjust. Cant wait to see what Roy has to say! #BearDown 04/29/2012 - 10:15am |

ForteAllDay22 Emery said that they are excited about Hardin's size (6-3 222) They want him matching up with TE. This is a good pick because Green Bay killed us with their TE's. He can contain good tight ends with his size. We drafted 3 guys that xan make immediate contributins next yeaar. So far, so good.
04/28/2012 - 10:24am Respond I agree, As much as i think the safety pick was a bit of a reach, We dont have a backup SS behind Major W. Now our S group looks to be developing: Conte, Wright..backups Stelz, and Hardin. I think the first 3 picks are just what the doctor Ordered. Now if we can get a LB 04/28/2012 - 2:43pm |

ForteAllDay22 Hey, Roy, do you think Emery made the right decision to pick McClelin over Jones? It seems like a big reach at 19. Couldn't we have traded downinstead? I have mixed feelings about thiis.
04/26/2012 - 11:13pm Respond I don't think you're the only one, especially since a lot of us whom have been following Roy expected a guy with Lovie's measurable's. From what I've seen and heard though, the Bear's seem very high on McClellin. Rod apparently really liked him, and Emery's interview about him had him stuttering with excitement. Ultimately though, you're question is if this was the right decision for the Bears? I'd say until we actually see him centering into the LDE position and then eventually playing it, that only time will tell. I feel good about the kid so far. 04/27/2012 - 12:09am |

04/26/2012 - 10:03pm Respond Show all 6 comments 1:46 amazing play by him. 04/26/2012 - 10:10pm Yeah he looks like a fluid, natural pass rusher. 04/26/2012 - 10:54pm Have to say, I'm really impressed with his ability to aggressively pressure on one hand and the football smartness and vision when he plays contain on the other hand. He squeezes the run really well and he gets off blocks pretty easily. I was a little puzzled by the pick, but I think the guy will be worth it. 04/27/2012 - 3:30am Thank you for posting this video, but the jury is still out for me. They beat NV 30-3. This game was a highlight reel for everyone on the team. Show me a game that is won by 3 PTS. I do like his motor though. Everyone swims faster and harder when there is a feeding frenzy going on. I still like the pick. I hope he produces. Go Bears!!!!! 04/27/2012 - 6:25am In 2011, Boise St didn't win a game by less than 11 pts which was against Air Force. The closest game they had was their only loss at 35-36 against Texas Christian. Against AF, he had 6 total tackles, 1.5 for loss, and .5 sack. Against TCU he had 3 total tackles, 1 for loss, 0 sacks, and 1 FF. Don't know snap count or anything else that would shed light on these numbers. 04/27/2012 - 5:16pm You can find a 3pt victory in 2010. Week 1 against (16)Virginia Tech 33-30: 6 tackles, 4 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 1 QB Hurry. 04/27/2012 - 5:21pm |

04/26/2012 - 9:02pm Respond Show all 5 comments There were many people projected higher than McClellin. I wonder if there were no people wanting to trade up cause if the Bears really wanted Shea McClellin than they could have traded back. 04/26/2012 - 9:05pm Situational pass rusher probably but we could've gotten someone with better value like Riley Reiff, Kendall Wright or a 3 down DE like Chandler Jones. We kind of reached for Shea. I think he is a good pro and has very good tape but I don't see him fitting in with the Bears. I'm so confused. 04/26/2012 - 9:48pm Emery called McClellin a 4-down player, so we just need to wait and see if our trust in Emery pays off. 04/26/2012 - 9:59pm From what I see so far, it looks like he can compliment Peppers because he too plays on both sides of the D-Line. I'm not a fan of his height, but knowing how the Bears love to experiment, maybe they'll move him to LB? 04/26/2012 - 11:08pm I think the Bears disliked something about Chandler Jones, he clearly has the better Measurables. I think this move might be a preparatory pick by Emery to eventually move to a 3-4 defense, or at least be safe in case they do a move to the 3-4. Which would mean Lovie would have to be gone first of course. 04/27/2012 - 1:45am |

ForteAllDay22 Moke Mayock's updated top 100. I find it very interesting. Chandler Jones is the top DE at number 9, Kendall Wright at 16 and Alshon Jeffery at 51 to name a few players the Bears would like to draft.

Like I mentioned on last night's show, the Corey Wootton subject will be the next topic they get around to. It is what it is, I guess. It does go to show you the value in fan sites, such as these.
