Domoe424 Jeffery will eat in this offense. Cutler is going to be licking his chops when we play defenses with these small corners. Jeffery will also provide youth, size and strength if Marshall goes down for any reason. #Beardown
04/28/2012 - 2:48pm Respond Show all 8 comments I also like the McCellian pick. Roy what do you think of having him play beside Urlacher i think it'll be mean to have Briggs, Urlacher and McCellian as or LB core 04/28/2012 - 2:51pm Lovie: "He’s not a linebacker, start with that. He won’t be a linebacker. He’ll have his hand down in a three-point stance from Day 1." 04/28/2012 - 8:20pm I've heard rumors that he may play LB. 04/28/2012 - 11:20pm He is a linebacker - he played MLB in school. He's also identical in size to Urlacher, so he'll end up there before long. 04/29/2012 - 7:55am Yeah looks like Roy Williams is out. But in a perfect world i'g like to see him stick around. Can't hurt to have as many big body recievers if that's going to be our strength moving forward. 04/29/2012 - 9:27am Your joking..right? 04/29/2012 - 9:43am No we've seen what injuries can do to a team that has everything going last season. Suppose 1 of or recievers goes down the rest of our recievers are barely scracthing 6ft 04/29/2012 - 9:50am If jeffrey and marshall both get injured it doesnt matter who its at WR they wont be as good as those two. 04/29/2012 - 11:28am |

Domoe424 I see YBR is also a fan of Chandler Jones lol, I think the kid deserves that 19th pick unless somebody falls! #Beardown
04/18/2012 - 11:36am Respond Show all 4 comments Could also play 3tech a little since his hands are so fluent. 04/18/2012 - 11:38am I love his intangibles but then I realize he's only had 10 sacks in his career. I still would be happy taking him. 04/19/2012 - 2:27am From watching some highlights, he definitely is a constant threat rather than occasional big-play. With Marinelli coaching him, he is sure to be a contributer in the rotation. Best case scenario if no body the HO likes falls is a trade back for some extra picks and still get Chandler Jones. 04/19/2012 - 2:49am Yeah ItsJustWerner that'd be sweet, we get the DE we want and more picks to start grooming younger players. 04/19/2012 - 7:32pm |

04/05/2012 - 9:50pm Respond Angelo doesn't need any help in looking foolish - he did it all by himself every single year. 04/06/2012 - 10:57am |

Domoe424 Great Vid Roy alot of strong points. almost went 2 hr strong with help from Libations lol #BearDown

Domoe424 I feel Forte was a beneficiary to the lack of offensive weapons under angelo...Last season will be by far his best season as a Bear and that was because we had Roy Williams as a no. 1 so check downs were more necessary
03/27/2012 - 12:49pm Respond I say Forte should keep silent accept a 4yr deal and bring championships to the Windy City! 03/27/2012 - 12:52pm If Forte will sign, sure. Why not? 03/27/2012 - 2:55pm |

Domoe424 With the trade happening with the number 2 pick that means Blackmon wont be the number 2 pick meaning the Rams fall to the 6th pick is there any chance the Bears talk to cleveland about grabbing their pick ahead of the Rams and grab Blackmon. (assuming the browns dont want him?
03/09/2012 - 11:27pm Respond Show all 7 comments Blackmon was never going to be the #2 pick; and very few mock drafts have Cleveland taking him at #4. Claiborn is slowly becoming the no-brainer pick for them at #4, and have Blackmon being drafted at 6th overall by the rams from the pick they got in this huge trade. Not only do I doubt the Bears are willing to trade the future for a single WR, I doubt the Cleveland or TB will trade their pick to move down to 19th overall. 03/10/2012 - 2:20am I would rather have Hill. 03/10/2012 - 6:34pm Hill over Blackmon? What you puffin on? 03/11/2012 - 12:03am Blackmon is not going to be an elite number 1 in this league he can develop into 1000 yd WR but not elite. Stephen Hill has the potential to be an Elite WR IE Calcin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald. But he is also a bust candidate. I rather draft the best available player and trade for Marshall if Manning does not end up in Miami, he might become available. 03/11/2012 - 12:05pm To compare Stephen Hill to C.Johnson and Fitz......Lets just not do that ever...I see hill being more of a Mike Wallace or the kid from baltimore Smith. But to think your going to draft Hill as a number one receiver is just absurd 03/11/2012 - 1:26pm Thats why the word potential was written he physically can do it but does he have the cognition to do so idk. 03/12/2012 - 2:10am I agree. But his physicality isnt something scouts are going bananas over it's his speed at the combine lack of route running skills will hurt him in the league. But i agree great potential 03/13/2012 - 1:47pm |

Domoe424 I think it would be wise for the Bears to take the best o-lineman available at any position except RT, preferably LT or RG, let spencer and Garza battle it out for C and lets complete our o-line this year so no more we dont have to sing "Cutty come back" next season #beardown
03/05/2012 - 2:20pm Respond Show all 5 comments It would be wise to address both LT and RG this offseason then let Cutty work his magic 03/05/2012 - 2:23pm We have Louis, CW, EW and Spencer who are all fighting it out for guards. We need a premier DE and a backup DE. We need LBs. Any tackle available ito us in the 1st rd is just not good enough. Mike Adams is J'Marcus Webb Mk II. We need to pursue and get Mario Williams at $15M, even then we should still draft Mercilus. PLax can be our tall receiver for $3M. 03/06/2012 - 4:44am Ideally, yes, but the bears would be making a huge mistake to not draft the best player available period. Assets like that can always be traded for commensurate needs, and the plain fact of the matter is that the bears have arguably the lowest level of talent of all nfc north teams. That needs to change ASAP. I totally agree though and we could probably do something in FA, like G Nicks and T Gaither (to compete with Webb) 03/06/2012 - 8:22am I wouldn't give Lance Louis or Chris Williams the time o day put them on the market and find better players. Otherwise when Cutler's contract is up he won't want to leave. 03/06/2012 - 10:43am Exactly thats what i was saying, Louis i think i would give another chance to see how he jells but nobody else (CW and Spencer) were not originally guards maybe we can get away with that if we do get a stellar Tackle. Since we've had cutler we have had near the most sacks in the league. 03/06/2012 - 1:42pm |

Domoe424 I think The Bears should go after a DE in the early rounds, we are pretty thin at that position and could use another Stud pass rusher on the other side of JP to really counter these pass happy teams we will see in the playoffs
02/12/2012 - 7:04pm Respond Show all 4 comments I think Whitney Mercilus(Illinois) fits the bill. he would creat an opportunity to switch Idonije to DT. Im not very sold on Coples though. I believe he is all hype and is most likely to be a bust 02/12/2012 - 7:52pm I can't see many ready to produce DEs that would fall to the Bears in the early rounds. I'm predicting a late round pick for DE, a player overlooked by other teams for one reason or another but the Bears can turn into an elite producer. Maybe Donte Paige-Moss in round 5 or 6. 02/12/2012 - 10:18pm Yeah I agree i believe the bears should have the best line on Offense and defense with the two guru's we have at coach on both positions, with that being sad with the lack of elite pass rushers i think we can find a diamond in the ruff on o-line and d-line 02/13/2012 - 5:27pm I am not willing to wait till the 5th or 6th round. There will be one available to take at 19 and i hope we draft one because we need it. I am hoping Mercilus, also. Another name to keep an eye on is DE Malik Jackson from Tennessee possibly in the 2nd round. 02/14/2012 - 1:39am |

Domoe424 My opinion is that why was Licht brought back in for the interview who was he responsible for elevating into the pro bowl because outside of Brady the pats' are a 7-9 team at best???
01/24/2012 - 7:52pm Respond Show all 4 comments yeah they have Gronk and Hernandez but those are the only true talents and they play the same position, no running game, and a average Defense 01/24/2012 - 7:54pm Have you seen their o-line? It's really good. And come on, a QB doesnt't get you to a superbowl, a TEAM does. Yes, brady is a big reason they're there, but it takes a lot more than that. They're a well coached and talented team that executes well and gets the job done. That is what wins you superbowls. 01/24/2012 - 11:34pm But if we're talking pure talent and depth what has he done sure the super bowl is great but how has he had to do with it if you take away Brady do you have these superbowls or even playoffs?? 01/25/2012 - 12:19am Look at cutler. All season long we talk about how good he would be if he had a good line, a number 1 reciever, and better skill position players. Don't you agree? Brady has what cutler doesn't. But no, the patriots wouldn't make it to the sb witout brady, but that obvoius for the simple fact that you need a star qb to win a superbowl these days. 01/25/2012 - 7:52am |

Domoe424 Im excited about this new facelift approach that the bears are taking, we have to be able to compete with the green bay slackers in the north division and this upcoming offseason will be huge for the Bears moving forward with players getting old, decisions should be chess not checkers
01/05/2012 - 3:22pm Respond Show all 4 comments Offense should be the focus being that most of the top teams this year are winning with crappy D and ours is already better than theirs 01/05/2012 - 3:24pm Which is exactly why I'm rooting this post season for a team like the 49ers who have a top 5 D and a balanced offense. We need weapons on offense badly, but I don't want our defense to fall into disrepair and be ranked 31st or 32nd at the end of the regular season. 01/06/2012 - 6:47am But i dont see this happening, at the beginning of the season the D was ranked toward the bottom but dugged their way backed to top ten, D is about personnel and scheme and we have a pretty solid personnel and good scheme your observation is correct but our O has been ranked toward bottom for the past 2 seasons what we need NOW is some boost on offense imho (Roy's voice) 01/06/2012 - 10:43am Your D's #s look a lot better when the offense doesn't go 3 and out. You get to the QB more when you're not gassed. 01/07/2012 - 11:33am |
