DA BLUNT FORCE ... Do you guys see anyone in Montreal that Marc will invite to camp? Look before answering.
05/06/2013 - 7:43am Respond Show all 7 comments I see nothing. Else I didn't look hard enough. 05/06/2013 - 11:30am I think WR Green has a chance. He looks good. 05/06/2013 - 8:16pm Ya i think green is the only one who could have a shot. 05/07/2013 - 12:17am I would think he'd want his QB from the Alouettes, but 1) he's 38 years old and 2) he's under contract with Montreal for 2 more years. 05/07/2013 - 9:17am 28* if you're talking about S. J. Green. 05/08/2013 - 12:02am think hes talking about that old ass QB they got 05/08/2013 - 12:51am oh ya that guys ancient :P 05/08/2013 - 3:47am |

DA BLUNT FORCE ... DT Zach Minter is a beast and will be a starter. I had never heard of him, but watch his highlights and you will be a believer.
04/30/2013 - 5:43pm Respond Show all 5 comments Oh ya watched his video last night. No doubt in my mind he will be a starter this year, and our front Four is going to be A destructive force. 04/30/2013 - 6:25pm He's also super athletic. I found this online comparing him to combine invitees. Here are the numbers for the top 10 performers (d-line only) at the combine in each category: Bench: Margus Hunt (DE) SMU-38 Brandon Williams (DT) Missouri Southern-38 Akeem Spence (DT) Illinois-37 Josh Boyd (DT) Mississipi St.-32 Minter (DT) MSU-31 John Jenkens (DT) Georgia-30 Abry Jones (DE) Georgia-30 Chris Jones (DT) Bowling Green-30 Bennie Logan (DT) LSU-30 Stansly Maponga (DE) TCU-30 Vertical: Trevardo Williams (DE) Connecticut-38' Barkaveous Mingo (DE) LSU-37' Ty powell (DE) harding-37' Damontre Moore (DE) Texas A&M-35.5 Devin Taylor (DE) South Carolina-35 Nate Williams (DE) Ohio State-35 Ziggy Ansah (DE) BYU-34.5 Margus Hunt (DE) SMU-34.5 Sam Montgomery (DE) LSU-34.5 Joe Kruger (DE) Utah-34 Minter (DT) MSU-34 The next closest tackle is at 33. He had a vert than any tackle at the combine. Shuttle: Ziggy Ansah (DE) BYU-4.26 Devin Taylor (DE) South Carolina-4.30 Datone Jones (DE) UCLA-4.32 David Bass (DE) Missouri Western-4.33 Dion jordan (DE) Oregon) 4.35 Minter (DT) MSU-4.37 Barkaveous Mingo (DE) LSU-4.39 Jared Smith (DT) New Hapshire-4.39 Coret Lemonier (DE) Aubrun-4.40 Ty powell (DE) harding-4.40 Zach would have been the fastest tackle at the combine. Broad Jump: He would have been in the top 20, but outside the top 15. 3 cone Drill: His 3 cone would have been just outside the top 15. 04/30/2013 - 9:25pm I doubt he will start unless injury strikes he plays the "three" technique and Melton is getting paid big bucks so hes playing regardless. I dont think he will overtake Paea. But ive seen his tape its awesome, hopefully that athleticism transfers it to the NFL. 04/30/2013 - 10:18pm I agree he pry wont start, I just hope he can make the roster and get in on some pass rush situations. 05/01/2013 - 9:05am Yeah im hoping he and Cornelius Washington can bring it. 05/01/2013 - 10:17am |

04/29/2013 - 9:03am Respond Show all 5 comments I would run a twin QB set. Split them. How would you game plan defensively? 04/29/2013 - 9:04am Trestman has said that he would love to devolp him. and he also said he wants to add some read option to the playbook. but i am just not sold on the idea. Bears don't need that attention. Cause we thrive when No one ever talks about us. 04/29/2013 - 9:16am true 04/29/2013 - 1:38pm How do you think Cutler would react? 04/30/2013 - 5:09pm No! Give Matt Blanchard a legit shot at #2. 05/02/2013 - 9:56am |

04/28/2013 - 8:40am Respond Show all 10 comments I was serious about making him play TE. He's like 250lbs. 04/29/2013 - 5:00am ya but he is only like 6'3 and if his throwing is anything like his catching.... we don't need another kellen davis. 04/29/2013 - 8:07am |

DA BLUNT FORCE ... Those of you worried about WR don't. We will bring a couple down from Montreal for tryouts. WR Green that played for them is good.

04/27/2013 - 4:11pm Respond Show all 5 comments Jon Bostic was a wasted pick. I think. The rest I like. Draft grade so far B- 04/27/2013 - 4:12pm i agree for the most part. I don't get why we took Bostic over Brown. Don't care for mills. Draft grade for me so far c+ 04/27/2013 - 4:43pm Bostic is a faster version of Brown. Mills is a project given that Kromer likes to develop linemen. Bushrod was a fourth round pick 04/27/2013 - 5:34pm This draft will pay off in about a year or two 04/27/2013 - 5:38pm Mills looks lime Webb on passing downs. Bostic will be okay as an OLB. 04/29/2013 - 5:01am |

DA BLUNT FORCE ... Think TO I'm not worried about his mouth. He's kept it closed the last few years.
We are running a high power high energy offense and we are gonna need rotation players
to give our starters a break. His interview states he wants
to start opposite Marshall.Jeffery is our starter opposite Marshall.
04/20/2013 - 7:14am Respond Show all 9 comments I'd bring him in on veteran minimum. Use his ego in the slot on the goal line. Put him back on the sideline and use him for rotation. 04/20/2013 - 7:16am i believe everyone deserves a shot i wouldn't mind signing him. see if he can produce. 04/20/2013 - 7:30am R u serious......TO is WASHED! 04/20/2013 - 8:45am No harm in bringing him to camp. If he can hang- great! If not- Hit the bricks 04/20/2013 - 10:45am Yeah maybe 2yrs ago when we were desperate lol 04/20/2013 - 4:55pm Hell no!! We do not need to babysit him. He.never calmed down even into his 30s. 04/20/2013 - 6:06pm Honestly, I'd expect this from Angelo/Lovie. We don't need to repeat the Roy Williams experiment. I'm certain Emery will stick to drafting than giving a has-been a chance. 04/21/2013 - 1:10am His last year he put up some nice numbers, but failing to stick around in Seattle was a bad sign. I sure hope Alshon stays healthy this year. I really like that kid. 04/22/2013 - 5:37pm T.O has way more downside than upside, I honestly dont think he's a better receiver than Earl Bennet 04/22/2013 - 11:36pm |

04/08/2013 - 8:34am Respond Show all 5 comments agreed. 04/08/2013 - 6:11pm I think it's unfair to completely rule out the chances that Te'o ends up being a great player. He might be kind of an idiot, but we really don't know much about it, and as far as talent goes, Te'o has it. Not saying I WANT to draft him in the first round, but if the Bears do, it must be for a reason, and it's unfair to rule him out until you've seen him play in the NFL really. Just saying, you're gonna feel really dumb if he ends up being a really good player, and maybe the chances of that are slim, but talent can make up for personality no matter how stupid. 04/09/2013 - 5:07am My distaste for him has nothing to do with rumors. I watched him play and seemed ok. But a poor time on the 40 tells me he is not for us. We need sideline to sideline. 04/09/2013 - 8:31am 40 time does not equal on-field football speed. i'm not saying i necessarily want Te'o at 20, but 40 times are irrelevant. He had 7 int's last season. His instincts lead me to believe his ceiling is higher than the consensus thought it would be after the Alabama game. We'll just have to wait and see now, won't we? (they'll sell A TON of Te'o jerseys if he's our new MLB, that's for sure, LOL) 04/10/2013 - 8:24am i still think if we draft a linebacker in the 1st is gonna come down to ogletree or brown 04/10/2013 - 2:32pm |
